We’re 9 Years Old – And Just Getting Started!

On November 19th, 2024, we marked a huge milestone: byFlow turned 9!

What started as a bold idea in a small workshop has grown into a global movement, reshaping how professionals think about food, design, and technology. Over nearly a decade, we’ve brought 3D food printing into over 35 countries, collaborated with world-renowned chefs and innovators, and pushed the boundaries of creativity, sustainability, and possibility.

From Vision to Reality: The byFlow Journey

In 2015, we set out with a vision:
To revolutionize food production through 3D printing technology.

Back then, the idea of printing food was still met with raised eyebrows and curious stares. But we saw the future and knew that personalization, precision, and innovation would play a massive role in how food is created and experienced.

Over the years, we’ve:

• Launched one of the world’s first multi-material food 3D printers.
• Helped chefs create masterpieces never before possible by hand.
• Supported educational institutions and food labs to teach the next generation of culinary innovators.
• Worked with sustainable food Multinationals & Startups to prototype new textures and experiences using for example plant-based ingredients.
• Most recently, we launched our proudest innovation yet: OPUS, the 3D Chocolate Shaper – unlocking a whole new world of possibilities for chocolatiers and creative professionals.
